Concert “Muzyka agus craic” will be the grand culmination of the Polska Eire Festival in Kilkenny. Scheduled for May 22nd at 8:00pm ceremony, at the WatergateTheatre, will be an example of promoting the integration and sharing the culture of Irish and Polish music. Poland will be represented by folk “Kapela Maliszów” the epitome of highland passion from Beskid Niski. From the Irish will play folk group “The Carty Sisters.” The choice of these two groups was not accidental – the organizers had in mind the cultural exchange, where the receiver will have to deal with two different perspective of folk music. Such a comparison shows the wealth and potential of the Irish and Polish culture and how much we can learn from each other.
The evening will also be part of history in the form of short performance of “Flying Columns 1916″, as well as will be the official presentation of awards to the winners of the “Kujawiak Arts Competition Castles”, which will be conducted within the framework of Polska Eire before the start of the Festival.
During the ceremony, there will also be presentations of invited officials who briefly summarize the festival and share their impressions.

Price: 15 euro (under 18 – 5 euro) tickets available in the venue before the event.
